Vivotek develops two anti-grip IP domes for surveillance in high-security environments
Designed for corner mounting without anti-grip edges, the manufacturer offers the models of 3 megapixels and vandal-free housing: CD8371-HNVF2, with a fixed lens, and CD8371-HNTV, with varifocal lens, for application in prisons, Psychiatric cells or facilities, both for its technology and corner mounting and for its design to avoid self-harm.
The new dome cameras CD8371-HNVF2 and CD8371-HNTV Vivotek They are specially designed for indoor application in safety-critical environments, as prisons, Cells, psychiatric hospitals, Etc. as they have no ligatures or grips to prevent self-harm, are discreetly mounted in a corner of the room and feature a robust IK10 housing and IP66 protection.
With a resolution of 3 Megapixel, Both cameras feature 940nm infrared illuminators, with a range of up to 10 M. and invisible to the human eye, as well as fixed lens version in the CD8371-HNVF2 model and varifocal in CD8371-HNTV, so that security personnel can visualize the entire space of the cell or room thanks to its horizontal FOV wide angle of up to 108º and vertical angle of 79º.
To this is added the incorporation of two-way audio and microphone, allowing you to record sound up to 5 meters away. These cameras work day and night and integrate WDR Pro technologies, to capture images in very dark or bright areas, combining parameters to create an accurate and realistic image, and SNV to capture high-quality images even in low-light conditions.
