Hanwha, Nvidia look for security solutions based on artificial intelligence

Hanwha Techwin has signed an agreement with Nvidia to strengthen the competitiveness of the products and solutions in its portfolio that use artificial intelligence technology (The).
Nvidia is an American company that promotes artificial intelligence technology and produces graphics processing units for computers, robots and self-driving cars, through the use of 'Deep Learning' algorithms.
Using this global partnership, both companies will collaborate on an intelligent video analysis platform that is currently being developed by Nvidia.
This platform will feature artificial intelligence GPUs that employ 'Deep Learning' in security devices (Cameras, storage media), enabling fast and accurate analysis of video data and providing relevant information to customers.
Hanwha Techwin will focus on the development of cameras and storage devices with artificial intelligence that can detect, autonomously, abnormal movements and situations, using Nvidia's AI video analytics platform.
In addition, the platform can be applied to several solutions of Hanwha Techwin as urban video surveillance, retail or traffic control.
