AOpen seeks to conquer the video surveillance market with the media player DE7400XE

This manufacturer is working with Intel to define standards to consolidate the workload of IoT applications and offer new uses between cloud and customer architectures. This team, fruit of this association, offers greater flexibility, Security and Performance.

In an ultra-small format, WAIT, brand that distributes Verybox, has designed the DE7400XE with the processor Intel Xeon E3 v5 and up 32 GB DDR4 memory. It is capable of handling the contents of 3 Independent UHD displays and up to 4 external Sata hard drives. Supports full HEVC video decoding (H.265) and incorporates mini SAS connector to connect 4 Sata devices, raid 0,1,5,10, Jbod (depending on the connected Sata devices), 1Gb dual LAN, two HDMI and one mDP to carry content from UHD displays. Can be used as a stand-alone system (standalone) or modular (cluster or blade).

This AOpen solution is designed to add greater capacity to the digital signage market and conquer vertical markets such as video surveillance, Data storage and Edge/Fog processing.

The amount of data generated by IoT applications is outstripping the capacity of networks located in data centers and cloud infrastructures. Real-time decision-making is key and demands localized data analysis technologies, Storage, video surveillance and processing that cannot be covered by legacy cloud technologies.
