Peru's mall implements CCTV system to cover long distances

One year after the construction of the Megaplaza shopping center was completed, located in the Peruvian city of Jaén, it was decided to implement a solution that would allow the facilities to be securized in the face of criminal acts that so commonly occur in the area by motorized criminals. A system was required to cover both the perimeter zone and public areas (Cafes, my is, Shops...).

To respond to these requirements, a system has been implemented that integrates 31 fixed cameras, which are at a distance of between one hundred and three hundred meters, And 7 PTZ Bosch Security, located between 300 And 400 Meters. Given the ample space to be covered and the distance between the cameras, a closed-circuit system was installed (Cctv) enabled to cover this large area.

Due to the dimensions of the project, Telvicom, company in charge of the installation decided to implement the equipment NVT Phybridge, given its ability to stream video and provide power to cameras over long distances, in addition to allowing centralized wiring of all cameras, making it easier to manage bugs. NVT Phybridge solutions optimized these processes", comments José Luis Rojas, specialist engineer of the printed installer.

Rojas also states that other reasons for opting for this solution were, in addition to safety, was the need to centralize surveillance over long distances, so that control can be done more efficiently.

Two NV-CLR equipment was used for this project-024-5, twenty NV-LNK-02-5 and fifteen NV-EC-100-PWR. These NVT Phybrigde systems have as their main function to provide the service of monitoring and recording incidents inside the mall and its perimeter, allowing IP links with PoE power up to 600 Meters. Two monitors are used for the display of images 32 inches and for recording a Bosch DIP-7083-8HD.
