DiiD adds to its business the distribution of Axis solutions and the purchase of Stocksensor

The company has started marketing this manufacturer's network video systems nationwide through its company Logistics and Distribution, while consolidating its presence in the portuguese security market with the acquisition of this distributor.

The agreement between the wholesaler DiiD Logistics and Distribution, specialized in security systems, video surveillance and fires, And Axis, to market in the Spanish market the network video systems of this Swedish multinational is in force since the past 1 October.

As Julio Castillo has pointed out, axis distribution channel for Spain and Portugal, "we are delighted to include DiiD in our wholesale structure, that becomes a strategic piece for the future. We have high expectations for this commitment, as it is a great opportunity to maximize business and sales opportunities".

Ignacio Barandiarán, CEO of DiiD, adds that "it is essential for our business strategy to find partners that not only provide cutting-edge products and solutions but also have a technical and commercial support structure that allows us to generate competitive advantages in the market and manage to put together a value proposition suitable for our customers, axis meets each and every requirement".

Increased commercial capacity

Practically on the same dates as the aforementioned agreement, DiiD Portugal has acquired the local distributor of safety products Stocksensor (in the first image) whose technical and human assets will join the company in order to strengthen its position thanks to its experience and knowledge in this market.

The CEO of Stocksensor, José Gomes, who will remain in the company as CEO, assured that "this acquisition is a great opportunity and a big leap in our business capacity, technical and logistics", and stressed that the integration into DiiD Portugal is very positive "because of its great growth plans in the country, continued development and international projection".

The purchase of Stocksensor makes DiiD Portugal "the main distribution group of security systems in the country," says Ignacio Barandiarán-, multiplying the products and solutions available to our customers".
