The geospatial software provider Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure (formerly Intergraph) And Gamma 2 Robotics, has developed Ramsee, a robot designed to monitor and 'patrol' autonomously and without supervision (with a human-machine interface) offering real-time data on multiple risk factors (Intruders, Movement, Heat, Fire, smoke, Etc.), in addition to having a mobile video surveillance system and continuous monitoring of temperature and humidity.
Ramsee includes the Hexagon safety platform and integrates the data obtained by the robot with information from a variety of sensors. With all this it creates a map of the area where all the information is reflected in real time and providing a comprehensive and complete analysis of the danger situations.
The limitation of budgets and the search for efficient solutions to monitor the facilities, respond to alarms and analyze incidents and, at the same time, reduce costs, have been fundamental elements in the project developed by Gamma 2 Robotics with Hexagon SI software, with the aim of deploying autonomous robots to expand the tasks traditionally assigned to humans and, In addition, perform safety tasks in areas where human presence is impossible due to environmental factors such as air pollution, extreme temperatures, radiation, Etc.
