Hikvision remains in a predominant position in the video surveillance and CCTV market

The latest report from Ihs highlights keeps, for the fifth year in a row, To Hikvision as the world's largest provider of CCTV solutions and video surveillance systems.
According to this report, Hikvision counted in 2015 with a 19,5% of the global market share of CCTV and video surveillance systems, increasing its presence relative to 2014 who had a 16,3%. In addition, the company has been at the forefront of almost all individual categories, including IP cameras, analog HD cameras, DVR/NVR and video encoders.
From a share of the 8% three years ago, this data shows their growth thanks to investment in the research and development of new products.
"Hikvision is committed to advancing and convergence of technologies, and with the development of comprehensive security solutions, as shown with the releases made on Ifsec 2016. Among the novelties that were released were the PanoVu series, Turbo HD range 3.0 and the latest generation thermal camera as well as intelligent analysis products for use in retailers, transport and management of buildings", says Cynthia Ho, vice president of the company.
She also highlights how important collaboration with third parties has been and is. "We value very positively the technological and business relationships we enjoy with our partners and customers".
