Avigilon unveils its new line of H4 Edge Solution smart cameras

These networked devices integrate high-definition image processing, self-learning video analysis, Network video recorder functionality and this manufacturer's integrated Control Center video management software to create an intelligent video surveillance solution.

Edge Solution H4 cameras (Is) of Avigilon record video directly to an internal solid-state drive, integrated into the devices, without having to use an independent network video recorder, reducing installation and system costs.

As they point out from the company "these are real Internet of Things devices (IoT - Internet of Things) and act both as a network camera and as a ready-to-use video management software platform". To do this, these cameras combine HD images, self-learning video analysis, NVR functionality and integrated Avigilon Control Center video management software, providing a complete surveillance solution for any facility.

Another advantage is the flexibility and versatility of the devices, with options for deployment, ranging from multi-camera solutions as a stand-alone installation to integration into a conventional networked video surveillance system.

The Avigilon Edge Solution H4 camera line (Is) contemplates indoor and outdoor installation domes with IR (also in hanging version of installation), that improve lighting levels to capture high-quality images and reduce blur, as well as bullet cameras (indoors and outdoors) IP66 certified, IMPACT resistance IK10, hanging mounting, integrated heater and IR illuminators.
