Hikvision to show off its new range of PanoVu panoramic cameras in Ifsec 2016
After receiving the iF Design Award for his PanoVu Series DS-2DP1636-D camera 16 Megapixel, the manufacturer has added to this range new ultra high definition multisensor models and video with panoramic view of 180 And 360 degrees to improve safety in large open areas.
The new panoramic cameras of the PanoVu series of Hikvision offer video of 180 And 360 Degrees, distortion-free and ultra-high definition (UHD - 4K) to integrate seamless images and videos of the various sensors that integrate these video surveillance devices.
The company has also added advanced intelligent tracking capabilities and PTZ, as well as 36x and 16x digital optics to accurately zoom images, even in low light conditions, especially useful in large security facilities, like stadiums, Airports, parking and urban security.
Easy to install and maintain, hikvision PanoVu range saves devices, technical complexity in wiring and maintenance costs for customers, because with a single multisensor unit they can easily cover a large space thanks to their panoramic display of 180 or 360 degrees in a single camera, no need for server-level video assembly software to combine images.
PanoVu cameras incorporate Hikvision's super-large DarkEye aperture lenses, sharing the same performance in ultra-low light with the company's DarkFighter series, For . capture high-resolution, color images with just 0,002 Lux, which together with its panoramic vision ensures continuous video surveillance in high-risk installations, such as open public spaces in the city centre.
The intelligent tracking offered by these cameras is based on a link to an additional PTZ tracking camera, offering powerful zoom capabilities to sharply visualize the tiny details in the panoramic image. In addition, this technology allows simultaneous monitoring of various objectives, both in automatic and manual tracking models.
The PanoVu range of cameras, with IP66 protection, is available in versions of 8 megapixels and 180 Degrees, and sixteen megapixels and 360 Degrees, allowing users to select the most suitable model for their specific surveillance application.
Models of 16 MP and 360 grades use eight 1/1.9" Progressive Scan CMOS sensors to create panoramic images, while models of 8 MP incorporate four sensors to generate images of 180 Degrees.
The company will show the PanoVu range in full, along with other video surveillance solutions, during his next participation in Ifsec 2016, that will take place in the 21 To 23 June at the ExCel in London (stand E800).
