Axis Communications has acquired the company 2N, an operation that responds to the growth in the IP video intercom market and strengthens the company's offer of solutions.

Peter Lindstrom, Vice President New Business Axis2N, whose headquarters are located in Prague (Czech Republic) and focuses its activity in the field of IP intercom, in addition to operating in other areas such as IP audio, develops and provides solutions for the ICT and physical security industry.

The company has sales channels through electricians and telecommunications installers, as well as elevator manufacturers, which can serve as a complement to the current Axis channels. At the same time, 2N will benefit from Axis' strong market position and R+D resources.
