This manufacturer's new network video management system offers more recording options, content management and surveillance, which together with your IP recorder support all levels of network camera format, including 4K.

Sony HAW-E-Series

Sony offers on your VMS a flexible and customizable solution for management, storage and content analysis. This system, including the HAW-E and HAW-S series of IP video recorders and the SOW-E and SOW-S series of server-based video management software, is designed for a wide range of commercial video capture applications, as urban surveillance, means of transport, financial services and education.

New video management software supports a wide variety of IP camera formats, including the latest 4K technology. The addition of 4K-compatible recording and content management solution reinforces the position of Sony's 4K format and enables a comprehensive 4K solution to be offered (from target to screen), while maintaining the flexibility to respond to the needs of different markets and budgets.

4K image capture is now combined with recording on this technology, allowing users to take full advantage of the data offered by ultra-high resolution, in order to improve your knowledge of the situation and the ability to detect details.

For Roger Lawrence, Sony Europe's video surveillance product manager, "The new VMS platform offers the missing link in the 4K workflow. Thanks to compatibility with a wide range of existing camera systems, as well as fully integrated 4K support that meets demand for higher resolution, Sony provides a comprehensive 4K solution for customers using our imaging technology".

Among other features, the new VMS offers live/local or remote viewing and search functions; multi-customer support on a wide range of devices (Pc, tablets and smartphones, Etc.), as well as enhanced search features (by event or time) to increase efficiency in the use of the system.

Added to this are Sony-exclusive features such as smart trimming, both static and dynamic, and capturing evidence, to get the highest level of camera resolution. In addition, VMS flexibility allows you to work with the analysis functions built into the new cameras and is compatible with sony's entire range, including 4K devices.

Sony Zeppelin ESony VMS will be available later this year in two versions: Standard, for small and medium-sized enterprises, and Enterprise, for larger organizations. The first Standard offers enhanced features, while the business version is ideal for installations that make use of many cameras.

The Standard version, which consists of the SOW-S series and the ready-to-use HAW-S series, provides the connection of up to 288 cameras and admits 40 cameras per unit when using the NVR device.

For its part, The Enterprise version, including the scalable SOW-E series and the HAW-E series, allows the connection of up to 4096 cameras and admits 100 cameras per unit when using the NVR device. In addition, with smart wall function, which is purchased at an additional cost, users of this release can use the multiple monitor option to see even better certain areas.

The system also offers users a guarantee of the future for their investment in technology, as your video and content management needs change or increase. Sony's software update plan is a payment method by which customers upgrade their systems when new features and features are incorporated.
