Hikvision integrates its IP cameras and recorders with Paxton's Net2 access control
This technology agreement to integrate the Chinese manufacturer's video surveillance solutions and the British supplier's access control system will have a simple interface to make building security management easier for the user.
The network security systems company Hikvision integrate its full range of IP cameras and recorders with the Net2 access control system developed by Paxton, a benchmark in the UK in such electronic IP solutions that are installed in more than 150 country buildings offering centralized management of hundreds of doors and thousands of users.
For Keen Yao, director of international marketing at Hikvision, "integration offers a value-added solution to customers of both companies. It will help identify and address suspicious activity, making security system management simple and more time efficient".
In this sense, this integration will have an intuitive interface to easily configure HIKvision NVRs and cameras, that can be associated with individual doors, with the Net2 system, so that users can control videos linked to access events.
For its part, Gareth O'Hara, Paxton's sales and marketing director, added that "we develop innovative solutions that represent the company's philosophy of simplicity and quality, while responding to the needs of the security market. It's a pleasure to be working with Hikvision, a company that places so much importance on product innovation and diversification. We hope the solution will be an attractive proposition for a wide range of installers".
