Sony SNC-VB770: new 4K network camera with sensitivity of less than 0,004 Lux
This ultra-high-resolution model (Uhd) combines sensitivity of less than 0,0044 lux and color for a wide variety of commercial safety applications and supports various interchangeable E-mount lenses.
The new 4K network camera Sony SNC-VB770 offers the highest level of sensitivity in its class so far, with less than 0,004 Lux, in accordance with ISO 409600, combined with advanced 4K resolution and network connection capability to give video professionals more flexibility in capturing details, even in extreme light situations.
Sony SNC-VB770 achieves high levels of resolution and sensitivity, in addition to low noise, thanks to its image processing and the full-frame Exmor sensor 35 Mm; all this developed by this manufacturer.
The sensor captures considerably higher, low-noise light than conventional camera sensors for radically improved sensitivity, resulting in high-quality, high-performance images in environments that are almost in complete darkness, beyond what the human eye can appreciate.
This new camera is compatible with Sony's high-performance E-mount lens series, which includes a variety of options: from wide-angle to telephoto lens, optimized to maximize the performance of the full-frame sensor 35 Mm, allowing you to maintain high resolution throughout the image area, from the center to the periphery of the target.
Thanks to this sensor, integration with video capture apps is easy, such as urban surveillance, Transport, important ports or infrastructure, as well as for nature studies or scientific applications.
Roger Lawrence, Sony Europe's video surveillance product manager, explains that "SNC-VB770 is based on the strengths of Sony's image sensor, and this experience applies to the field of commercial video capture. Low-light situations don't just occur at night, But 24/7, in museums, zoos and any municipal or commercial area. This new camera and our growing range of 4K networked models provide users with more options to meet their content capture needs".
Thanks to the optimal level of detail of 4K technology, security professionals, For example, you can expand your surveillance area, take snapshots and examine every detail of an image, like a face or a car license plate, all with a single camera.
The SNC-VB770 uses zone-specific noise reduction technology to selectively divide images into different areas, based on patterns (like edges, textures and areas of homogeneous color, like the blue sky), while detail reproduction technology further improves image quality.
The camera's intelligent cropping feature allows users to capture a full view while cropping images at their native 4K resolution, working with multiple images at the same time and with three or five simultaneous video streams. This feature offers two modes: Static, to see multiple specific areas in a scene or capture an overview and details of cropped areas at the same time, and dynamic mode, that uses intelligent motion to detect, crop and track moving objects automatically.
Intelligent Scene Capture automatically adjusts and adapts image quality (brightness and color) depending on the time, weather and lighting conditions. Sony SNC-VB770 also allows users to customize the default image settings to define the best settings. Multiple settings can be saved and changed to any of them manually (through Picture Profile mode) or according to an established schedule (Picture Profile planner) to ensure the best image quality, both day and night.
The new SNC-VB770 camera will be available in Europe in the summer of 2016 and the company invites its partners to register from Here to attend a product introduction webinar next Thursday 14 April, at 13:00 H (Gmt) and for more information.
