The Atanasio Girardot is the first stadium in Colombia to install the security camera Avigilon 7K

This camera, together with Avigilon Control Center video management software, are part of the security solution that has been installed in the Medellin stadium to combat crime and vandalism during sporting events.

With a capacity to 55.000 Spectators, the Atanasio Girardot is the main sports field in Colombia's Medellin metropolitan area. This stadium hosted the U-20 World Cup in 2011 and served as the stage for the opening of the IX Medellin South American Games 2010.

Also, has been the first stadium in Colombia where the camera has been installed Avigilon 7K:i (30Mp) as part of your security solution, which also integrates Avigilon Control Center video management software (Acc).

Avigilon's 7K camera offers a resolution that exceeds 30 millions of pixels and incorporates High Definition Stream Management technology (HDSM) and LightCatcher, providing optimal performance in low light conditions.
