Canon wants to become one of the leading players in the security market

Show your latest developments for the security environment and demonstrate how your solutions integrate into different vertical markets with third-party solutions, are some of the lenses that Canon has raised with its debut to SICUR 2016.

Canon is betting on being one of the big players in the security market. "We have been in this sector for a short time but we have arrived to stay and proof of this is the investment we are making and the acquisitions we have made in these months: that of Milestone And Axis", explains Julian Rutland, European NVS Marketing Director, Canon Europe.

Other initiatives they have carried out to strengthen their presence in the security and video surveillance sector is the assistance to Sicur 2016. It is the first time they attend the International Security Exhibition, which is being held at Feria de Madrid, and it is doing so accompanied by its main partners: Ganetec,Wavestore And Nedap.

The objective is to show its wide catalog of solutions for video surveillance, as well as how they integrate with third-party solutions.

In this way, on its stand you can see applications in which Canon cameras are combined with Genetec license plate recognition applications, the use of drones, hand in hand with ITM; or the Tunnel Experience solution designed to be applied in environments of complete darkness.
