AirLive's IP video surveillance technology secures a fishing port in Ecuador
The Artisanal Fishing Port of the town of Anconcito, in Ecuador, has implemented a video surveillance system based on AirLive cameras. A project that includes the installation of this IP security system in two ports and a remote control center in the central office, plus an integrated communications system.
The state agency Infraestructuras Pesqueras de Ecuador, Public Company (IPEEP) required the installation of an IP video surveillance solution that would allow the entire area of the Artisanal Fishing Port of Anconcito in Ecuador to be secured.
Telenetwork was the integrating company of the solution and responsible for supplying the equipment of this implementation that is part of a project that included the installation of this IP security system in two ports and a remote control center in the central office, plus an integrated communications system. The technology chosen for this implementation were the IP video surveillance cameras of AirLive.
This work is integrated into a government project that seeks to build 27 docks along the entire Ecuadorian coast towards the end of the 2017.
The new artisanal fishing port modernizes all the activities that take place around fishing under a concept of integral service. The main work is the pier. Its breakwater has near 440 meters and through 5 Floating pontoons, of 150 meters each, can dock up to 210 Boats.
The Directorate of Information Technologies and Communications of the Artisanal Fishing Port of Anconcito, requested a technical report detailing the equipment needed to install 33 Cameras, detail their location and make a photographic report of the equipment during the day and night. Also, the design of a plan and location of the IP cameras was requested. Another requirement was to identify the existing blind spots in the Commercial Area, Administrative Offices and Operational Area.
Solution implemented
Of the 33 installed cameras, Five have been located in the sentry boxes, The beach and the pontoons. For these areas, the dome model with Pan/Tilt zoom function SD-2020 has been used, while for outdoor surveillance the BU-3026-IVS have been used, BU-3025 and BU-3026.
Supervision of commercial premises, Pre-process, Warehouses and offices have been in charge of 22 AirLive MD-3025 and MD-3025-IVS mini domes. At last, FE-501OD fisheye camera completes surveillance in the pre-process area. The solution is completed with 10 Fiber connections from different locations to the voice and data room.
The main difference or technological advantage of AirLive with respect to its competitors in Ecuador was the CamPro and CMS software. Its technical characteristics, as ease of use, Clear and intuitive management environment, Sensor and alarm management, among others, Meet management requirements.
