FLIR FX: outdoor HD wireless camera with RapidRecap technology

This wireless HD video surveillance device features an IP67 housing to withstand adverse weather conditions and record images up to a distance of 20 meters at night thanks to its infrared lighting.

Available in the European and North American market through the Apple Store, the camera Flir Wireless outdoor FX features a CMOS image sensor 1/3 of 4 mp for recording images in 1,080p and storing them on a microSD card included with the device.

FLIR FX, equipped with a weatherproof IP67 housing, Stream live HD video to a smartphone or tablet for quick all-day review thanks to FLIR's cloud-based RapidRecap feature.

RapidRecap technology compiles motion-activated and cloud-recorded events into a condensed video, allowing users to save time by reviewing all-day video events in a single short-lived video clip. With the free FLIR FX app and this manufacturer's Cloud Basic cloud video storage, users can create and interact with RapidRecap videos, select events of interest and access the original recordings.

The FLIR FX app also includes SmartZone, a customizable push notification feature to select specific areas of the camera's field of view and motion detection, at that moment, triggers an alert on the device of the user's choice. The system also incorporates two-way audio, temperature and humidity monitoring and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple chambers.

For its part, FLIR Cloud Basic stores video motion events during 48 Hours, as well as an unlimited number of RapidRecap videos and thirty days of storage. The camera includes an internal battery that offers two hours of continuous use without recharging and for night vision has two infrared LeDs to record images at a maximum distance of 20 Meters. The camera offers direct Wi-Fi capability and works with or without an internet connection.
