The thirtyth anniversary of Rock in Rio in Brazil is protected by IP security systems
The City of Rock, how the installation of one of the world's largest music festivals is rated, counted for editing 2015 in Brazil with IP video surveillance and physical security systems provided by the alliance between Prosegur and Bosh Security, which for the third year in a row and on the thirtyth anniversary of the festival have monitored its seven-day duration.
The edition 2015 rock in Rio Brasil, commemorating its thirty years of a global music and entertainment project for all audiences that has made it the largest music festival in the world, ended a few months ago with new records of attendance and participation of leading international rock figures.
As in previous editions of this biennial festival, the organization has counted for the safety and protection of visitors, artists and facilities with the technology and resources provided by the alliance between Prosegur And Bosch Security to monitor the entire City of Rock, with an extension of 150.000 m2 that they went through daily 85.000 People, located in Rio de Janeiro.
The security project of both companies for this edition was based on the installation of 61 network video surveillance cameras, of which 44 units corresponded to PTZ models, in addition to two systems of 360 degrees with 12 megapixels of resolution; fourteen high-definition mobile cameras and one with thermal technology.
All network video surveillance equipment was connected to two monitoring centres installed in the enclosure: Operational Command Center (Bcc) and the Advanced Security Headquarters (CASE), the latter mounted on an armored mobile unit to facilitate the movement throughout the enclosure.
Eros Brito, regional marketing manager of Bosch's video systems business unit, explains that "this model of technological structure of electronic monitoring favors the observation of all the details, allowing you to accurately assess various situations, favouring the decision-making of the security team in an agile and assertive manner in case of need".
In this sense, IP cameras installed in Rock City incorporate intelligent video analysis technologies by algorithm to detect tracking actions in such enclosures, like people lying on the lawn or running when others are standing or walking, people in contraflow or trying to access restricted areas, Etc. and automatic tracking of people in suspicious attitude.
Bosch Security's 360-degree cameras feature panoramic lenses for constant viewing and recording, With 30 frames per second, and image quality of 12 Megapixel, while the thermal system makes it easier to monitor the environment is smoke situations, mist or similar, ensuring that the safety of the event has scene details in any situation. PTZ devices feature high luminous sensitivity for high-quality nighttime imaging, no need for illuminators, at distances of up to two kilometers.
