Honeywell merges its building security and residential market divisions into HSF
Security Group business units (Hsg) and Fire Safety (Hfs) will now operate under the Honeywell Security and Fire division (Hsf) which will be directed by David Paja.
Honeywell has announced the merger of its Security Group divisions (Hsg) and Fire Safety (Hfs) in a new business unit called Honeywell Security and Fire (Hsf) which is integrated within Honeywell Automation & Control Solutions (ACS). The combination of the two business units will allow us to offer a broader portfolio of comprehensive security solutions for buildings and the residential sector.
The new division will be led by David Paja as president of HSF, reporting to Alex Ismail, President and CEO of ACS.
David Paja joined Honeywell at 2003 and most recently served as President of Honeywell Security Group. Previously he also held the position of Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Transportation Systems in China and India and has extensive experience in international business development., management and marketing.
“This merger will allow us to offer a broader and stronger portfolio of products based on the best solutions for the connected home and all types of buildings.. The creation of this new entity accelerates the development of technological solutions and reinforces our product offering", comments David Paja.
