Sony announces availability of its 4K video surveillance camera in Europe
The SNC-VM772R model, which will be marketed in Europe in the middle of next October, offers 4K image processing functions, bandwidth optimization and intelligent scene capture.
As part of its commitment to 4K technology and the demands of the security sector, Sony has announced the availability in the European market of its video surveillance camera of ultra high resolution, which will be on sale next October.
"The 4K will very soon be a standard of video surveillance -has pointed out Damien Weissenburger, business manager of solutions for the corporate and education sector at Sony Professional Solutions Europe-. But 4K image processing is more than just a higher resolution; in addition to expanding the application potential of security cameras, is transforming the security and surveillance sector. The increase in the resolution of the video surveillance camera 4K of Sony covers a larger area, improves situation awareness and ensures that you won't lose a single detail, all the benefits that the market was crying out for".
Regarding the announcement, this executive assures that "we are aware that the SNC-VM772R has already aroused a remarkable interest throughout Europe and the product promises to be a real revolution for the market as customers discover the value of 4K images".
Thanks to the optimal level of detail of 4K technology, underlines Weissenburger, "professionals in the sector will be able to increase their surveillance area, take snapshots, enlarge them and examine even the smallest detail of an image with a single camera".
The SNC-VM772R combines these advantages with improved visibility, a reduction in the total cost of the system, as well as with a flexible and simple installation.
Fiegl + Spielberger, Austrian electrotechnology company specializing in custom-designed safety concepts, has been the first to offer the camera SNC-VM772R to its customers in Europe, which is already being used in a large bakery for the surveillance of all its facilities, from production areas to car parks.
This is how Bernhard Bachofner explains it., managing partner of Fiegl & Spielberger: "innovation, as 4K camera technology, is critical when it comes to meeting the growing demands of our customers. From our point of view, its greatest advantages are its innovative features. When combined with the highest resolution, open up a wide range of new opportunities in large-scale surveillance.".
