A building complex in Mexico installs a comprehensive security solution with Bosch

Bosch's solution for Mexico's Capital Reforma building complex consists of video surveillance systems, fire detection, voice evacuation and access control systems. A complete infrastructure that is centrally monitored.

Capital Reforma is located in a prestigious neighborhood with many tourist attractions, fancy restaurants, public art offices and exhibitions. A building that includes offices, a hotel and shopping areas, In addition, has been vonverted in a traditional place to hold different events. It consists of two towers of 25 Floors, 30.000 square meters of offices and 1.760 square meters of parking.

In order to provide a safe environment for visitors, workers and tenants needed the installation of a comprehensive security solution that would respond to the requirements of the different areas. For this project it was decided to use the technology of Bosch Security Systems.

In the case of the fire detection system, Insecom, project manager, was looking for a stable and robust system, modularly capacityed and scalable. In the end he opted for the FPA-5000 modular fire plant as a pillar of the structure, which is completed with detectors of different technologies for each of the different areas, ensuring proper functioning, minimizing false alarms, monitoring all points and offering an immediate response in the event of an incident.

Because of the size of the complex and the different routes in the complex, the evacuation system was a very important aspect when considering the installation of a security infrastructure. To respond to this need has been installed, as a complement to the FPA-5000 panel, the voice evacuation platform, Full VAS. Bosch's two systems together offer an optimal solution to lead an orderly and safe evacuation in the event of an incident.

To meet video surveillance needs, Bosch cameras of the Minidomo series have been installed, Autodome and VG5 that adapt to the requirements and integrate into the aesthetics of the building complex. Cameras provide high-quality images, even with low light or high contrasts.

As a complement, the AMC series access control system has been implemented which is very useful in the registry, control and entry of visitors and tenants to the community.
