Vivotek launches CC8370-HV fisheye IP camera to ensure prison safety

The Vivotek CC8370-HV fisheye IP camera is designed to respond to ip video surveillance needs that require high security environments. With its 3 Mp, features a robust IP66 and IK10 housing, and incorporates microphone and WDR Pro and SNV functions.

Vivotek just announced the compact fisheye camera with 3 Megapixel CC8370-HV. A team with anti-glare design and vandal-resistant housing designed for video surveillance applications in environments that require high security such as detention centers, Cells, psychiatric and penal wards.

With the anti-ligation feature, camera prevents both self-harm and conflict. With horizontal panoramic views of 180° and an adjustable tilt angle of 25°, CC8370-HV allows security officers to see what's going on in cells, without any blind spots.

Thanks to the microphone that incorporates, the sound within the radius of 5 meters can also be clearly recorded.

The CC8370-HV is armed with a robust IP66 and IK10 housing, to make it water and dust resistant, and protect it against vandalism or manipulation. In order to ensure vigilance 24×7, is equipped with WDR Pro, that captures dark and bright areas of the image and then combines the differences to create a realistic representation of the original scene.

In addition, with SNV technology (Supreme Night Visibility), this Vivotek solution is able to deliver good quality images in low light conditions. Night visibility that eliminates unexpected and unwanted incidents.

The CC8370-HV is supported by ST7501, Vivotek video management software capable of recording network video up to 32 Channels. Security officers can set up the IP surveillance system with ease and plan ahead for numerous alarm triggers, such as motion detection and manipulation.
