Visual Tools secures transactions made at sales terminals with AX-POS

The Visual Tools AX-POS application is software that integrates with Axis IP video surveillance cameras to record the data of transactions made at sales terminals, and allow its subsequent recovery.

AX-POS is an app developed by Visual Tools that is incorporated into the network cameras of Axis Communications with recording on SD card or NAS disk to record and store the texts of the sales terminals and that allows them to be displayed superimposed on the live or recorded video images. This makes it easier to subsequently verify the legitimacy of the transactions being made and to analyze and report exceptions.

The camera records the video of the monitored payment area and saves it to the chosen resource, SD card or NAS disk. At the same time, the AX-POS app installed on the camera, Collects transaction data from the data source (ATM, Tpv, ECR…), tags them with the same date and time as the images, and stores them in a database in the same place where the video was saved and for the same period of time.

Accessing the Camera Interface via Web, via Supervisor X video management software or via third-party software upon integration, Transaction data can be retrieved overlaid on live or recorded video, search for images associated with specific text or search by the date and time of the images.

Visual Tools AX-POS software records transaction data and transmits it at the user's request without interfering with the operation of the POS or ATM or the camera's recording function. Overwrites real-time data on live video images as well as recordings, making it easy to recover videos and data, and providing more effective visual control of operations.

In addition, AX-POS allows you to search for images by selecting the corresponding entry on the cash register ticket or by requesting an intelligent search by word.
