Samsung Techwin integrates focus technology with infrared LEDs into its new SNP-6320RH dome
Incorporated into Samsung Techwin's WiseNetIII range, Dome camera offers high-speed automatic tracking and integrates unique smart focus technology with infrared LED.
SNP-6320RH is the new PTZ dome camera Samsung Techwin High-speed Full HD (1.920×1.080Q) with automatic tracking especially suitable for video surveillance in complex environments, that the company has incorporated into its WiseNetIII range.
This network video surveillance device, selected as a finalist for the Benchmark Innovation Awards 2015, integrates infrared LEDs that illuminate objects at a distance of up to 150 Meters, focusing the beam of light when the camera zooms.
The system is also equipped with an infrared correction lens to ensure sharp nighttime images, even under variable light conditions, like when infrared LEDs are working with low ambient light. These features ensure that people are clearly visible, objects and even license plate numbers in the dark, thanks in addition to the optical zoom capability of 32 increases it incorporates.
Samsung Techwin design engineers have equipped the SNP-6320RH dome with a long list of additional features, like automatic tracking (self-tracking), that allows operators to monitor the movement of people or vehicles and have their hands free to control other cameras.
For Tim Biddulph, Samsung Techwin Europe product manager, "SNP-6320RH is an excellent example of how the company is working closely with installers, system integrators, users and partners across Europe in order to understand and respond to the changing needs of users. As a result of this cooperation, we have provided the SNP-6320RH dome with a set of features that we believe meet the needs of those customers working in complex environments, where a high-performance PTZ function is required".
This manufacturer's unique coding technology allows the SNP-6320RH dome to capture images at an ultra-fast frequency of 60 Ips, ensuring operators see sharp images, clear and latency-free moving objects.
Its design has also been worked hard to ensure that it offers high-quality images, even in the most difficult environmental conditions. It is weather resistant with IP66 housing and IK10 vandal resistant, in addition to withstanding high temperature variations, from -50oC to +55oC. SNP-6320RH also incorporates The Defogging functions (Defog), improving the clarity of images captured in adverse weather conditions, such as rain, smoke or fog, and Digital Image Stabilizer (Dis), correcting vibration effects if installed in exposed locations.
This dome, Compatible with Onvif, has the WiseNet III chipset with open platform, whose processing capability allows the camera to run applications such as license plate reading, video analysis, facial recognition, people count, perimeter protection solutions, and whose download is similar to that of smartphone apps.
Most open-platform cameras that are available on the market can only run a single application; However, WiseNet III chipset processing capability gives customers the option to run multiple applications at once.
