Honeywell perimeter security systems protect Albacete Local Police headquarters

With a space of almost 9.000 m2, the Local Police of Albacete has entrusted the perimeter security of its headquarters and the interior to Honeywell Security's video surveillance solutions, installed by its partner Tecalsa.

The headquarters of the Local Police of Albacete, located on a plot of almost 9000 m2 in which the main building is located (of some 5.000 m2) divided into three well-differentiated sectors: Administrative and operational offices; Agent Training Classrooms and Library, and changing rooms and storage, to which is added a. helicopter landing strip and other areas (gymnasium, Shooting Gallery, Tennis court, basketball court and a small museum that illustrates the evolution of the municipal guard in the last sixty years) required a perimeter video surveillance solution.

To do this, the services of Tecalsa, Security System Installer, to design a high-performance outdoor perimeter video surveillance system, with high-resolution and vandal-resistant cameras, as well as electronic devices (minidomes) for the interior of said headquarters.

For this project, as described by Tecalsa, "We opted for Honeywell after testing with other manufacturers' products. For outdoor surveillance we chose the Orbiter dome, since we required a device capable of 360º surveillance, that was quick and easy to handle. We were looking for a quality product with high performance, with the guarantee that it would not give any problem to the customer once it was launched".

Five Orbiter domes have been installed on the outer perimeter. 27 magnification with Wide Dynamic Range, compact and discreet design, mounted on corner and roof brackets to ensure full visibility of the outer perimeter. At the main entrance of the headquarters of the Local Police of Albacete, Honeywell's HCD92534X infrared bullet camera is available, especially suitable when there is little light, since it incorporates 49 Infrared LEDs that guarantee optimal images in color during the day and very sharp in black and white at night.

Inside the headquarters they have been distributed in strategic places, Very high-resolution colour mini-dome staircases and corridors from the Performance series, such as this supplier's HD51X anti-vandal system. The HRHD DVR Digital Recorder, sixteen channels, Record and play back high-definition video, in addition to storing video images long-term using XtraStor technology.

An advantage of this digital video recorder is the remote access software (EVENNESS), that controls and configures the DVR from any location, Managing the system, video monitoring and image playback from multiple locations, in addition to offering the possibility of quick searches by event, Date or Time.
