Sicur 2014, Mobotix's bid to go with its own stand and present its wide range of video surveillance in 5MP
After four editions going to SICUR through its distributors, Mobotix is betting on this edition with its own stand where it is showing its latest cameras of 5 Mp, among which the M15D-Thermal thermographic model stands out, and showcases its latest technological developments for image optimization and motion detection.
Mobotix has made a commitment to SICUR 2014 and it has attended the fair again but this time it has done so with its own stand (Pavilion 10, booth C10 and not through your distributors. "We thought that this was the time to go with a direct presence since this year a greater number of manufacturers and fewer distributors have attended. And, Moreover, We have a wide range of new products that we wanted to make known", explains Jesús Garzón, Director for Southern Europe of the company.
Among the new solutions that can be seen at the Mobotix booth is the M15D-Thermal safety system, Mobotix's first thermographic model, that sees what the human eye does not see.
The M15D-Thermal is a high-end thermal imaging camera with a thermal sensor of 50 mK and a temperature measurement range of -40 To 550 ℃. The thermal sensor is capable of detecting in complete darkness, Through smoke, fog or a thin plastic film. This model will be available on the market in April.
It is a camera that, as the company's director for Southern Europe explains,, "It is ideal for critical infrastructure, Perimeter appliqués, Fire, industry and warehouses in the retail environment".
Another novelty of Mobotix is its commitment to half-inch sensors and 5 Megapixel, "That they are four times more sensitive to light. In addition, We have improved the image quality in 200% in black and white and a 27% in color", Garzón clarifies.
And as an example of these new sensors, Mobotix is showing its D25 cameras at SICUR, M25 and Q25 deliver high-contrast images with no motion blur, even in low light conditions, thanks to the new Low-Light exposure optimization.
The D25 monodome camera offers a wide range of application possibilities thanks to interchangeable lenses and various installation and equipment variants including up to a vandal-resistant assembly.
The M25 professional camera offers an interchangeable lens and incorporates an internal digital video recorder with up to 64 GB of memory capacity. This model is ideal for indoor and outdoor application.
Finally,, the Q25 IP dome camera is ultra-compact and weather-resistant. It is a discreet model, difficult to identify as a camera even for the most curious eyes. Thanks to the 360° panoramic view it can be installed for the control and recording of video events of an entire room.
The Q25 Hemispheric provides panoramic images of 180 degrees with improved detail sharpness. This panoramic imaging technology developed by Mobotix allows a single camera to discreetly and completely monitor an entire area, offering a better overview than multiple cameras and with the ability to zoom in on details simultaneously.
Hemispheric correction takes place in the chamber and not later in the computer, so that image data can be reduced before transfer or storage.
Visitors to the Mobotix booth will also be able to see other 5MP models announced last year such as the M15, S15 and D15, as well as the T25 video intercom.
Motion & Optimization Software
When it comes to software, Mobotix has also incorporated new tools such as Lowlight Exposure Optimization (MxLEO) which includes support for Hemispheric technology sensor modules from 5 Megapixel.
This solution offers greater image sharpness, with less noise, Easy-to-configure light settings on cameras and optimization of recording and alarm results by incorporating MxActivitySensor motion detection technology.
MxActivitySensor records intentional movements of people and objects while ignoring changes in the observed area that are not relevant. In this way, The number of false alarms is significantly reduced.
