Vivotek FE8174 and FE8174V

Network cameras Vivotek FE8174 and FE8174V incorporate pixel counter, sensors 5 megapixels and fisheye lenses 1,1 mm for a 180-degree panorama and 360-degree surround view.

These Vivotek panoramic fisheye cameras offer full views of the surrounding area, capturing hemispheric images that can be converted into a conventional straight projection for visualization and analysis through software applications available on the market, whether client software or local viewer.

Vivotek FE8174“Fisheye lens technology has been introduced to the safety market in recent years and allows for increased catch area with multiple display options. These high-definition fisheye models exceed the expectations of various applications and monitoring requirements, allowing flexibility to display multiple objects from the same camera", explains Steve Ma, Vivotek executive vice president.

A wide range of display layouts are available, including original immersive view, panoramic view and regional view for various mounting applications. In both panoramic and regional view mode, it is possible to use the ultra-smooth ePTZ function to enlarge images and focus on a region of interest (Roi).

For better image quality in harsh lighting environments, Vivotek has included enhanced WDR functionality and a removable IR cut filter in the FE8174 and FE8174V cameras. The new Pixel Counter feature also helps the installer in determining the level of detail (or Pixel-Per-Foot) at different distances for objects of interest or smart analytics applications.

The FE8174V network camcorder is equipped with a waterproof IP66 rating cover with IK-10 protection so the camera can not only withstand rain and dust, but also provide strong protection against physical harm. In addition, in accordance with EN50155, the camera can withstand shocks and vibrations, keeping the video stable during movement.
