Ray Mauritsson, CEO of Axis Communications, elected 'CEO of the Year' 2013
The head of the Swedish multinational network video company Axis Communications, Ray Mauritsson, has been chosen by the organization Motivation.se, as 'CEO of the Year' 2013 in the large companies category, recognising the work of the CEOs of Swedish companies, at an event in Stockholm.
Created to recognize the work of CEOs of Swedish companies, the organization has awarded Motivacion.se the 'CEO of the Year' award 2013, in the large companies category, to Ray Mauritsson, Chief Executive Officer of the Network Video Company Axis Communications, based in this country.
At the event held in Stockholm, The organization recognises Mauritsson's leadership capacity to "execute Axis' strategies to achieve a better positioning in the market of global video surveillance providers, managing to maintain its strong company culture throughout a period of high growth and numerous incorporations".
In his recognition as 'CEO of the Year' 2013, Mauritsson highlighted this honour and his pride in "having built the foundations of Axis' success, together with the innovative and dedicated staff that make up the company. It is also gratifying that Axis' efforts to respect sustainability are being recognised, as we continue to make long-term commitments to ethical and social responsibility, at the same time we are actively working to minimise our environmental impact.".
The prize, organised by Motivation.se has been awarded by a jury made up of leading experts, who chose three winners in the small categories, medium and large companies between 146 Candidates. In the case of Mauritsson, The jury highlighted its work to strengthen Axis Communications' position as a global provider of networked video surveillance systems over the course of ten years, with a growth rate of between 11 and the 39% yearly in this period, thanks to the development of new technologies and innovative products, as well as its work with the company's values of equality and diversity, along with significant new employee hiring.
