Iran's ITC uses Vivotek cameras for its video surveillance infrastructure
Vivotek cameras have been the technological solution of choice for Iran's ITC training center to secure its facilities both indoors and outdoors.
Iran established the Instructor Training Center & Technical and Vocational Researches (ITC) In 1974 in Karaj City, province of Alborz. In cooperation with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the United Nation Development Plan (UNDP), ITC has provided the largest and most significant vocational training centre. With innovative facilities, Advanced software and hardware and skilled workforce, the ITC training center is a benchmark both in the country and throughout the Middle East. In collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, ITC plays an important role in conducting training courses to promote the development of skilled work.
The centre is responsible for the improvement and development of human resources, which means that security throughout the venue is an essential requirement, so the ITC decided to install several IP cameras and Vivotek was the chosen option. The project, which was completed in July, was made through the local Vivotek distributor, Pooya Fara Negar (Nfp) and integrator Sayna Soft Company.
In this project, Vivotek network cameras were adopted for indoor and outdoor surveillance, including IP8332 and IP8362 bullet format, the FD8136 ultra-mini dome and the SD8121 high-performance day/night camera. And to centrally monitor all the cameras, a wireless connection system has been installed that allows more effective monitoring, efficient and cost-saving.
The Vivotek IP8362 and IP8332 models are designed to be installed outdoors and withstand the elements of water and wind. They are equipped with a removable IR-cut filter and IR illuminators that allow them to adapt to the constantly changing lighting conditions that occur outdoors and offer high image quality throughout the day. In addition, IP8362 supports WDR Enhancement for optimal visibility in extreme light environments, making it the best choice for the most demanding outdoor surveillance applications such as parking and ITC entrances.
Positioned as one of the smallest network cameras in the world, The FD8136 is designed with a profile of 90 mm diameter and Ethernet power (Poe), being very simple and easy to install. In addition, due to their selectable focus distances, The FD8136 is ideal for installation in elevators, Health Facilities, Offices & Campus.
Another additional camera for indoor use has been the Vivotek SD8121, A high-performance day/night and speed dome that is equipped with a sophisticated pan/tilt mechanism and a 12x optical zoom lens so you can move quickly and precisely. With horizontal vision of 360 degrees and 90 Degrees of inclination, The camera can capture images with fine detail at long distances and clear videos of fast-moving objects. In addition, with WDR Enhancement technology, The SD8121 can cope with a variety of lighting conditions.
