The Verdi range includes biometric fingerprint readers that combine with other traditional methods to ensure security.

VIRDI Range

STI Card has added to its catalog the range of terminals Virdi for access control and biometric presence of the Korean manufacturer Union Community, becoming its representative for Spain and Portugal and fully introducing itself in the security sector.

The range of Virdi terminals incorporates biometric fingerprint readers combined with other traditional methods for access control and presence control such as RFID proximity card readers and the possibility of entering personal numerical keys to increase security in personal access and time control.

All terminals, that will be supplied in Spain by the hand of STI Card, incorporate patented technology for the detection of false fingerprints, thus preventing unauthorized access or fraudulent signings using rubber replicas, plastic, paper or other materials to simulate a real finger.

This patent is based on an algorithm that differentiates a real finger (alive) of another that is not and is based on the electrostatic training of the finger located on the surface of the optical sensor and the frequency of reflection of infrared light on the finger presented in the reader. In addition, these terminals are accompanied by software for access control that reduces its implementation and favors that small and medium-sized companies also have access to an access control system without having to make large investments in customized solutions..

The Virdi product range consists of AC-6000 terminals, AC-5000, AC-2100 and AC-1000 (No biometric reader), completed by the AC-F100, the first terminal for access control and WI-FI presence in which there is a real convergence between intelligent technology for biometric access by fingerprint and a smartphone with iOS or Android operating system. This terminal can be integrated into a security infrastructure via a wireless connection.
