The CEO and founder of Mobotix AG, Ralf Hinkel, cedes the presidency to Magnus Ekerot
The so far sales director of Mobotix AG, Magnus Ekerot, will be from the next 1 October chairman of the company's board of directors, following the assignment of this position by its founder and CEO, Ralf Hinkel.
The German manufacturer of video surveillance network systems Mobotix AG Change, for the first time in the company's history, to the chairman of its board of directors, that will be effective next time 1 October.
The CEO and founder of Mobotix AG, as well as the company's majority shareholder, Ralf Hinkel, assigns for personal reasons the position of chairman of the board of directors to the so far sales director, Magnus Ekerot.
As Ralf Hinkel explained, "by ceding the chairmanship of the board of directors to Ekerot I carry out the change at the head of our company that I announced in September 2010, on the occasion of joining Mobotix AG, and that we've been preparing for a long time".
In this sense, Ekerot will lead the company combining its functions as a new CEO with those responsible for the sales and marketing areas of Mobotix AG. The board of directors will find three people in the future, with Oliver Gabel as Chief Technology Officer (Bt.), and Klaus Gesmann, as CFO (Cfo).
Since joining Mobotix AG two years ago, Magnus Ekerot has successfully led greater internationalization of the company's distribution structure, especially with the introduction of the Global Partner Network.
For its part, Ralf Hinkel will remain linked to the company as a majority shareholder, the exercise of decisive influence over its strategy and product development. The founder of Mobotix AG has also stressed that, Currently, there are no ongoing negotiations for the sale of your shares and neither is it your intention to put them up for sale.
