With Ipela Engine, Sony makes a strong commitment to the video surveillance market
Sony's new line of Ipela Engine cameras covers all market segments, from airports and urban areas, to schools, shops and banks.
The Ipela Engine family of cameras Sony consists of 14 new models belonging to the Pro and EX line, plus a small entry-level surveillance team and a scalable management solution.
The high-end, Ipela Engine Pro, is integrated by the W series that has cameras designed for the most demanding video surveillance environments such as airports, stadiums and casinos, as well as for urban areas and perimeters.
This line includes a camera that offers Full HD images, even in environments with intense backlighting, and provides a wide dynamic range of 130 Db.
This series is equipped with Ipela Engine Pro technology which allows it to operate at 60 Fps; I mean, twice as much as conventional IP cameras. By doubling the frequency to 60 Fps, the operator has a higher level of detail to analyze the images frame by frame in the recordings.
It also offers two outdoor video surveillance solutions: image stabilizer and defogging mode. Image stabilizer reduces the effect of vibrations in adverse weather conditions, such as strong winds or when the installation is carried out in the vicinity of road traffic routes or bridges. Defogging mode is a technology that increases clarity in the presence of fog or pollution.
The first two models of the W series to reach the market will be the SNC-WR632, for outdoor use, and the SNC-WR630 indoors. Both are high-speed dome models with continuous 360° PTZ operation and offer a rotational speed of 700 degrees per second, allowing the operator to quickly target the area of interest in a single quick movement.
Both the SNC-WR632 and SNC-WR630 feature true day/night function, delivering clear images even in low-light conditions, and also incorporate the latest version of View-DR for wide dynamic range compensation. They have uninterrupted 360° rotation function and their robustness allows rotational movements, constant tilt and zoom.
Ipela Engine EX: E and V series
Thinking about the retail market, banking or education, Sony offers its Ipela Engine EX line composed of the E and V series available in HD and Full HD versions.
E-Series models include enhancements to core camera features to deliver optimal image quality even in the toughest video surveillance environments. To this we must add the latest advances in View-DR technology, that offers a high level of detail even with subjects subjected to intense backlight. Noise reduction and low-light sensitivity have also been improved.
In addition, new models include image stabilization features that counteract the effect of camera movement produced by wind or vibrations of mounting brackets. Camera vibration blurs images and blurs details, but this new feature provides great images regardless of weather conditions.
The 12 new additions of the E series make up a complete range in which four fixed models are included (SNC-EB600, SNC-EB600B, SNC-EB630 and SNC-EB630B), two minidomes (SNC-EM600 and SNC-EM630), two other vandal-proof minidomes (SNC-EM601 and SNC-EM631) and two reinforced minidomes for outdoor use (SNC-EM602R and SNC-EM632R).
The current offer of mid- and high-end models will grow with the addition of two new V-series cameras, SNC-VM602R and SNC-VM632R, reinforced for outdoor use.
The SNC-CX600W is a small and affordable wireless camera. Created specifically for small businesses, Shops, Restaurants, hotels and residences, this camera incorporates HD (720Q) and panoramic viewing angle (120°) and works in wireless or wired mode on dual networks; In addition, supports parallel storage on micro-SD cards.
The camera features a passive infrared sensor (Pir) for motion detection in the dark, as well as a white LED light that illuminates the scene automatically when motion is detected or when activated by the user. In addition, incorporates a microphone and a speaker, supports two-way audio and includes Sony analysis features such as motion detection and DEPA.
Scalable management software
This server software, based on the Windows operating system, integrates with network video surveillance recorders (NSR) and RealShot Manager Advanced software (RSM) sony. It offers a complete video surveillance solution that responds to the needs of those looking for a scalable solution to migrate from their autonomous / local recording systems. The expandability of the management software makes this "all-in-one" video surveillance package the ideal choice for companies with multiple locations, like banks, or for retail businesses, medical facilities and school zones. As these organizations grow, the system will do it with them.
The solution can manage a maximum of 1000 Recorders, simplifying large NSR/RSM systems. Contains a set of SMS administrative tools that reduces the management workload.
