Milestone Arcus facilitates migration to low-cost IP surveillance

Milestone's new Arcus integrated video surveillance platform makes it easy to migrate analogue-to-IP surveillance systems in low-complexity, low-cost installations.

Milestone Systems, provider for IP video management software (Vms), has introduced its new integrated video surveillance platform Arcus, specially developed for low complexity and low cost installations that works on Linux-type operating systems, MacOSX and Windows, inside storage, network and security cameras as a simple and easy-to-install video management tool.

Arcus is a multi-platform VMS solution for hardware vendors to integrate their products and market it through their respective channels as a plug-ready solution&Play. These integrated solutions will be marketed jointly with Milestone to guarantee customers the quality of video surveillance of this company. This platform incorporates a new development code at its core that is the first deployment of the new Incubation business unit & Ventures de Milestone, created last year.
