Caracas already has more than half a thousand cameras that guard its streets
At the new Emergency Care Security Center 171, which is based in Sabana Grande, the Venezuelan government has invested 15 million bolivars (1,8 millions of euros).
A total of 199 New cameras will be incorporated this year into the new video surveillance system applied in Caracas, through the Emergency Care Security Center 171.
In total, the Venezuelan capital will have more than half a thousand cameras. For the creation of the Emergency Care Security Center 171, which is based in Sabana Grande, the Venezuelan government invested 15 million bolivars (1,8 millions of euros).
From this center, the 11 main roads in the city of Caracas: Catuche, Chinese Water, Cambural, Softy, The Victorious, Cotiza and Anauco, among others, in order to obtain early warnings in the event of incidents.
This center also has a call center, composed of operators who work in the 24 Hours, and who is in charge of transferring calls to 40 agents of the state security forces.
The state-of-the-art security center also features a GPS system for 750 Units, both firefighters and civil protection, and the different citizen security agencies, in order to monitor the units that are closest to the incident that is reported in order to be attended to more quickly.
