Universal Surveillance Systems unveils new Scout X400 public vision DVR monitor
The developer of anti-theft prevention solutions Universal Surveillance Systems (USS) has launched a new public vision monitor with integrated DVR, the Scout X400, which has a 9,7 inches and several new sabotage alarms that help catch thieves in retail stores.
Universal Surveillance Systems has released the new Scout X400 public vision monitor with a built-in DVR. The rugged advanced unit features a live video display of 9,7 inches and several innovative sabotage alarms that allow mounting at eye level to record activity from the optimal point of view offering a forceful deterrent visible to thieves.
The President and CEO of USS, Adel Sayegh, Said: “With the increasing incidence of retail theft, in particular organised retail crime, video surveillance using PVMs has become an increasingly important anti-theft mode. Just like a watchman, the Scout X400 PVM will watch over the goods and, mounted at eye level in a corridor or checkpoint, the sharp image on the screen sends a clear message to would-be thieves that they are being monitored. Eye-level positioning also optimizes your ability to see clearly and record faces. In addition, its alarm lets you know immediately if someone tries to hide the camera, reposition the monitor, cut the power cord or open the unit.”
The Scout X400 features a crisp public view CCTV monitor in a rugged, commercial-grade enclosure, WDR camera, multiple sabotage alarms and digital signage capabilities to display messages to customers for marketing and other purposes. The monitor can also be used to display video messages or announcements triggered by the unit's built-in motion detector..
The Scout X400 is ideal for reducing product theft on retail store shelves, tapas, cash registers and aisles where expensive or frequently stolen goods are displayed.
