Bosch Security Systems has equipped MIC Series thermal PTZ cameras 612 with new alarm that warns if the temperature of an object within the camera's field of view is outside the set values, improving safety in critical systems such as oil or gas production plants, power generation plants or other critical infrastructure.

blankBosch Security Systems has announced the firmware version 1.1 for MIC Series thermal cameras 612, that add alarms for temperature change. Available in the standard resolution of MIC Series thermal cameras 612, the new function will trigger an alarm if the temperature of an object within the camera's field of view is outside the set values. This helps improve safety and process control by automating alarms and video verification in critical systems such as oil or gas production plants., power generation plants or other critical infrastructure applications.

MIC Series Cameras 612 are optical dual reinforced cameras / thermal with a "pan-tilt" zoom. These cameras combine a high-quality 36x zoom module for day and night and an uncooled thermo-graphic module inside the housing. This allows customers to simultaneously view high-quality color or monochrome images and capture videos of heat-producing objects.. They can also switch between the two modes at the push of a button.

IK10-rated corrosion and vandalism resistant design includes an IP68 certified aluminum housing / NEMA 6P with a long-life silicone clean to ensure excellent performance under the most demanding surveillance conditions.
