Users of Pelco Digital Sentry and Endura solutions and Schneider Electric Sarix cameras can now access live security video from iOS and Android devices to better protect people and property.

blankTo provide security personnel, to facility managers and first responders remote visibility of live video surveillance images, Pelco by Schneider Electric has announced that the latest version of its Pelco Mobile security video app offers support for the Endura video management system. Compatible with Apple iOS and Android, the application allows users of video management systems (Vms) Pelco Digital Sentry and Endura equipped with SM5200 System Manager and Schneider Electric Standalone Sarix Cameras, real-time access to video of people and goods they are protecting with their video security installation anytime, anywhere.

From small basic installations to large mission-critical surveillance environments, Pelco Mobile offers several features that allow optimized remote monitoring, including a responsive pan-tilt-zoom control that allows users to focus on particular areas or events that require immediate attention. In addition, users can save favorite cameras, camera clusters and locations for easy navigation and quick access to areas they regularly monitor.

Pelco Mobile is a free application for use on smartphones or tablets connected to a VMS Digital Sentry, an Endura VMS or directly to a Sarix camera via Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G. The app is available for download from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
