RemoteGUARD, first remote CCTV monitoring solution designed for Mobotix technology platforms

RemoteGUARD is a complete monitoring system that combines Mobotix cameras with advanced technology to deliver real-time video alarm verification, Remote virtual patrols and remote site access for authorized personnel.

Mobotix AG is supporting the launch of RemoteGUARD, Europe's first remote security monitoring solution designed exclusively to help the German firm's channel partners deliver enhanced security services. Developed by IPX Support Services Limited, RemoteGUARD Europe offers a high-resolution remote security solution to protect staff, to customers and locals. Using a highly customizable policy engine, RemoteGUARD offers a 'pay-as-you-go' model’ and allows any Mobotix partner to extend advanced remote monitoring coverage to either new or existing customers using devices of the German brand.

The new RemoteGUARD service builds on a popular system established in Australia that over the past two years has successfully protected hundreds of sites.. RemoteGUARD has been extensively tested with the full range of MOBOTIX systems and is a trusted brand in the region.

Ronan Barrett, General Manager, IPX Support Services Limited, explained that “RemoteGUARD is designed to integrate seamlessly with any Mobotix installation to offer a complete and flexible solution for remote site monitoring and access control. By taking advantage of the features offered by MOBOTIX as decentralized CCTV, Integrated analytics and two-way audio, we are able to offer an advanced CCTV surveillance solution that is extremely powerful with minimal monthly commitment”.

Versatile device

Each RemoteGUARD installation can be easily adapted by MOBOTIX partners and end customers. Sites may have different surveillance criteria for each camera depending on the time of day and escort procedures.. The system can perform regular patrols or verification based on triggers such as passive infrared detection, audible sounds, Activation of the entry point, Alarms and motion events.
