Diode has introduced the AirLink Raven XE Ethernet gateway, a smart device that has a rugged design as well as advanced security features and has been created for fixed and portable applications that demand 3G, as well as broadband communications.

This smart gateway, which is very easy to install and configure, has been designed to handle fixed and portable applications that demand 3G network connectivity and broadband communication.
Raven XE benefits from the combination of embedded intelligence Aleos and AirLink Software Suite to dramatically reduce total cost of ownership (Tco), as it helps minimize visits to remote teams.
Aleos technology brings improvements in routing and embedded machine protocols and advanced security functions, such as IPsec VNP and GRE 'tunneling', to protect data from unauthorized access and to be able to create a PCI solution in payment applications.
The AirLink Software Suite is made up of a set of management tools, Remote Device Management and Control. Together with the embedded intelligence Aleos, The software meets the needs of any deployment of fixed or mobile enterprise and industrial solutions.
Video surveillance and digital signage
The small form factor of the AirLink Raven XE allows it to be integrated into closed compartments, as ATMs, Kiosks, Information points and multimedia servers, while its rugged design with aluminum cover makes it a good alternative in surveillance and digital signage tasks.
