ADT incorporates image verification into its home alarm systems
The provider of fire and safety solutions, Adt, has a new alarm system with video verification that allows, in case of alarm, users receive the images of their home in their email and in real time.
Adt has launched a new video verification solution for its anti-intrusion alarm systems for homes. Gracias al nuevo sistema, at the time an alarm occurs, a través de la cámara incorporada en el detector se capturan una serie de imágenes que se envían en tiempo real a los operadores de la Central Receptora de Alarmas (Cra) ADT. In this way, operators can immediately check the veracity of the warning and alert the security services, in case of intrusion, or corresponding emergency, in case of medical or other alert. In addition, the system also allows the user to receive the images by email, to be able to confirm that it is not a false alarm.
Ricardo Arroyo, CEO of ADT Spain, Reviewed: "In recent times, there was strong market demand for home alarm systems that included video verification.. This system is much more effective when it comes to verifying an alarm in the home, not only because it allows CRA operators to check what is happening in the house in case of notice, but also, in case of intrusion, provides law enforcement with valuable data to identify and apprehend suspects.".
ADT's home video alarm system incorporates state-of-the-art panels and sensors with the most advanced detection and communication technology. Being based on devices via radio that do not require any cable, installation is simple and fast. The connection with the alarm center is made through GPRS/GSM, during the 24 hours of the day, The 365 days of the year. The system also alerts the user via SMS when it occurs, an alarm cancellation or power failure.
ADT security systems comply with the regulations currently dictated by law, where a series of requirements that security companies must meet are stipulated and the steps to follow and action protocols are marked to consider that an alarm is correctly verified. Regarding the verification of alerts by the central, the current regulations indicate that, when an alarm occurs, the receiving centres must proceed to their immediate verification, utilizando uno de los medios técnicos definidos en la normativa o la combinación de algunos de ellos: sequential, video, audio or face-to-face.
