Lancom will present at the Mobotix stand at CeBIT a combination of the M24 outdoor camera and the new UMTS/3G OAP-3G router, a solution that integrates securely into the company's network through a VPN tunnel over UMTS/3G mobile telephony.

blank Mobotix, provider of complete solutions for high-resolution IP video, and network specialists Lancom Systems cooperate on joint projects under the umbrella of the LANstrategy partner program.

The products of both companies are already used in a series of joint projects, however, by strengthening this collaboration they will achieve greater compatibility. For example Lancom will provide detailed information to optimize QoS configuration for communications between cameras and VPN routers, WLAN access points and Lancom switches.

We result from this close collaboration and we can see them in CeBIT where both companies will show a combination of the mobotix IP M24 outdoor camera and the new lancom UMTS/3G OAP-3G outdoor router. It is an efficient and economical solution to solve the video surveillance of public spaces, events or places away from the premises of some companies. This system is securely integrated into the company's network through a VPN tunnel over the UMTS/3G mobile phone network. This means that the surveillance infrastructure with network support no longer depends on conventional networks, telephone lines or internet connections.

The internal memory of the camera, combined with web access, provides instant visibility over remote areas, even for mobile operators. Power supply to the camera is done through OAP-3G, which in turn can operate through various power supplies, including solar panels or wind mini-generators.
